Light,

without it there is no contrast nor shadow of what is revealed: light is the insight of the universe allowing descriptions.
Similarly, without words there can be no contrast of minds or the shadows therein. Words permit insights of nature and man.

I picked the morning paper off the floor
It was full of other people's little wars
Wouldn't they like their peace
Don't we get bored

the drone of planes at night
has never frightened me
